About Him
I live in Jo'burg, like jazz (and Pieter Toerien from time to time) a glass of wine, good food, chatting in the kitchen (with the flavour a a bolognese souce on the stove, or a fish bototie in the oven), interesting company talking about evolution, philosophy or life (the latest load shedding schedule, latest scandal, if it must). Parkrun on Saturday, cappuccino and rusks to be served in bed before departure.
I worked in the financial sector and financial regulation for some years and international consulting on the same issues more recently. Wonderful opportunity for international travel, but sitting in stuffy hotel rooms can get a bit boring. I like all types of sport/ activities ... squash, Parkrun and lately into padel, lots enthusiasm to make up for limitations in expertise. And hiking, kayaking, messing around with boats when there is time.
But the spice of life surely is in chatting in the kitchen, or maybe a nice restaurant (with a sea view, if possible!) over a glass of wine, with interesting company!!
